Our coaching days are aimed at riders (beginners to intermediates) looking to improve/develop core skills and fundamentals. Specific dates will be tailored to certain cycling levels to help you get the most out of the course!
Arrive between 09:45am – 10:00am
Meet in the main-upper car park at Gortin Glen Forest Park.
Group Coaching with Gary 10:00am – 1:00pm
Spend the morning developing and learning key MTB skills (body position & movement, speed control, cornering, trail flow etc)
Lunch Included at Bries Barista 1:00pm – 1:45pm
Refuel with an included lunch at the café in Gortin Glen Forest Park.
Afternoon Uplift Session 1:45pm – 5:00pm
Use the included afternoon of uplifts to practice your new found skills & learning from the mornings coaching. Gary will be riding & using the Uplift with you, spending 1-on-1 time with each group member to analyse performance and provide bespoke feedback/mentoring.

19th March 2022 – INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
This coaching day is aimed at riders looking to progress their trail reading ability, line choice, decision making and over all composure whilst riding. A strong focus will be made to perfect body position and grow confidence with fundamental skills such as breaking, cornering and approaching obstacles. This course is perfect for individuals who have already competed in an Enduro/MTB Event or are looking to develop their skills even further.

Is this for you?
If you are a complete novice at MTB, we would suggest taking part in our MTB Try It Bundle before booking this coaching programme. These courses are aimed at beginners with some MTB experience right up to advanced riders, who are looking to develop and hone their skills further – specific course days will be aimed at different levels.What to bring?
Fully Functioning Mountain Bike with working Brakes, Gloves, Helmet, Protective Clothing/Gear, Waterproof Clothing (weather pending).
